Effect of Therapeutic Recreation Program on Physical fitness, Body composition, Physical self-efficacy and activity of daily living to Elderly people with senilis disease

Abstract
This study was conducted on total 43 elderly people, including 12 healthy group and 10 Diabetes group, 11 Hypertension group, 10 Hyperlipidemia group for the purpose of their health care and improvement by prescribing 12 weeks Therapeutic Recreation Program. The results are as follows; There is not statistically meaningful difference of muscular change in groups and between groups, but its increased in healthy, Diabetes and Hypertension group. There flexibility, balance and agility didn¡¯t show statistically meaningful difference in groups and between groups but all groups flexibility and balance increased while their agility decreased. Muscular endurance revealed statistically meaningful increase in groups but no meaningful between groups. They didn¡¯t show statistically meaningful difference of body composition in groups and between groups, but in all groups, a decrease in fat and fat distribution percentages and an increase in muscle mass, while in the case of body water, a decrease in healthy group and an increase in Diabetes, Hypertension and Hyperlipidemia group. Self-care status, activity of daily living and physical sew-efficacy of healthy group all didn¡¯t show any meaningful change but their meaningful increase in the case of Diabetes, Hypertension and Hyperlipidemia group. Result of this study have had an effect on the protection and treatment of adults diseases such as diabetes, and hypertension and hyperlipidemia related with geriatrics. Also Self-care status, activity of daily living and physical self-efficacy has improved, which has devoted to the promotion of the quality of life by building up not only physical health but mental one.
